Red eyes are not always "pink eye" needing antibiotic eye drops. They can be caused by a number of underlying conditions or factors.

Using our slit lamp (microscope), we can take a close look at your eye to determine the cause of the discomfort and create an appropriate treatment plan.

If you notice any of the following signs or symptoms, contact our office for an urgent appointment:

• Redness and itchiness
• Soreness, burning, or stinging
• Abnormal swelling
• Sudden blurry vision in one or both eyes
• Sudden flashes of light
• Presence of new floaters
• Abnormal irritation or pain
• Water or thick eye discharge
